As a lot of changes are planned over the next few months, we're providing you with an overview:
A new version of the Registry-Registrar agreement
It will be released in November 2024.
=> We will soon announce the exact changes in the new contract. After that you will receive an invitation to sign this digitally. We will then upload this digital document to your registrar account.
A new invoicing system
From 1 January 2025, we’ll start working with a new invoicing system which will involve some administrative and operational changes for you. For example, online payments will no longer be possible. An alternative will be made available though.
=> More detailed information will be provided in the course of November and December.
A price increase
From 1 January 2025, a price increase will be implemented, as you know. The price for the registration of a .be domain name will increase to €5.5, as well as the renewals and transfers.
NIS2
In addition, this autumn we will also provide more information (by mail) on the new legislation on cybersecurity (NIS2 directives) and what the impact will be on
registrars
and resellers.
